After your warm up exercises, I suggest practicing your scales. As an intermediate or advanced flutist, you should be practicing with more advanced music books that offer more in-depth scales exercises involving scales, modes, arpeggios, thirds, fourths, fifths etc. The following books, which I recommend for my intermediate and advanced level flute students, are listed in order from intermediate to highly advanced skill level:
